Are there any specific positioning requirements for the base unit or the disposable unit?

The only positioning considerations are (i) the Base Unit indication panel must be visible to the user, (ii) the disposable unit must be secured to avoid a sudden pull, and (iii) the disposable unit must be positioned below the fluid / blood bag (unless flow inducing mechanisms are used).
