Pete Allen is the Senior Vice President, IV Therapy (Parental Nutrition, IV Pumps, Sets and Solutions). Pete’s entire career has been in health care, most recently working on behalf of providers as the Executive Vice President of Sourcing Operations for Vizient, the country’s largest healthcare group purchasing organization. He led the strategic direction and the daily operations of Vizient’s contracting and program services.
Prior to joining Vizient, he served in numerous positions at BD Medical, including national accounts director, political lobbyist, and for 9 years led the worldwide Infusion Therapy business. He spent five years with Kimberly-Clark Corporation, where he was responsible for national accounts and global healthcare marketing. Pete began his career with Baxter Healthcare in sales, marketing and operations.
Pete is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University and received his MBA from The University of Texas at Austin.
Dr Green is a family physician and veteran with 34 years of service in the Air Force. He retired in the rank of Lt General in 2012 as the 20th Air Force Surgeon General of the U.S. Air Force Medical Service. Subsequently as Managing Director and Chief Medical Officer for Deloitte’s Federal Health practice, he advised Deloitte’s federal and commercial health clients and served as a thought leader in health strategy, innovation, clinical quality, public health policy and preparedness. He retired from Deloitte Consulting in 2022. He currently serves on multiple boards assisting both companies
and associations build and successfully execute their strategy.
Bruce is a graduate of the Medical College of Wisconsin, board certified and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice. He had an active clinical practice for over 20 years. He earned his MPH from the Harvard School of Public Health and maintains board certification in Preventive Medicine/Aerospace Medicine.
Dr. Qasim is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine and Critical Care at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He has worked in the UK in the fields of EMS, EM, and critical care, and then moved to the United States to complete training in Trauma/Surgical Critical Care at the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, Maryland.
His academic interests lie in advanced trauma and endovascular resuscitation, airway management, simulation, and prehospital care.

He believes population health management is the solution to many challenges facing health systems nationwide. One of his priorities is addressing social determinants of health with a focus on alleviating food insecurity.
A native Long Islander, Dr. O’Shaughnessy is a former emergency physician and licensed pilot who has built his career applying the concepts of emergency triage and aviation safety to health care clinical operations. He previously served as the health system’s chief medical officer and chief clinical officer.
Dr. O’Shaughnessy earned his medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, a master’s in business administration from Adelphi University, and a master’s degree in Population Health Management from Thomas Jefferson University.
Recognized as one of Crain’s New York Business’s Notable 2022 Health Care Leaders, Dr. O’Shaughnessy serves on the New York State Long Island Regional Economic Development Council as well as committees for the Healthcare Association of New York State, The Greater New York Hospital Association, Nassau Suffolk Hospital Association, and the New York Institute of Technology. He is also a member of the Wall Street Journal CEO Council and serves as a board member of the Long Island Association (LIA) where he co-chairs the Health, Education and Non-Profit Committee.
An active member of the American College of Physician Executives, he is board certified in emergency medicine and health care quality and management.
