Air and ground prehospital transport must rely on equipment that is lightweight, portable, failsafe to assemble, easy to operate, and highly reliable. This same equipment must deliver uncompromising hospital-grade performance during transport. However, operation during transport adds an additional level of complexity. Specifically, medical transport equipment must comply with the most stringent of safety requirements, especially with respect to the demanding Safe-To-Fly standards. Furthermore, the volume of transport calls demands a solution that is commercially affordable. All these properties are the cornerstone design considerations for the Warrior lite. The lite system provides a delivery rate of up to 170/180* ml/minute for blood products, as well as unmatched ability to deal with intermittent flows such as push-pull methods, hand pumps, syringes, LifeFlow-like devices, etc. Additionally, the lite offers an adjustable battery size for optimal operational fit**, ~800g/1,100g* total weight, and a significantly lower per-use price compared with all modern prehospital warmers. The Warrior lite is an ideal candidate for routine air and ground transport missions.

For long transports or when very high delivery rates are required, we recommend the Warrior and the Warrior EXTREME configurations (civil and military configurations, respectively). These configurations convey the best field performance compared with all battery-operable warmers, offering a delivery rate of up to 200 ml/minute for blood (compared with 100-150 ml/minute for 3rd party devices). The Warrior can distribute up to 3.5 liters with a single battery, and persistently provides unmatched performance when push-pull transfusion techniques are applied.
