An Exciting Milestone for Desoto Parish EMS!

“Yesterday marked an important day in the history of Desoto Parish EMS. As of yesterday, we became only the second ground service in the state that will carry blood products. Desoto EMS will now have the ability to administer blood and plasma to trauma and medical patients who are in need of an emergent transfusion. We have partnered with LifeShare Blood Center in Shreveport on this endeavor and are excited and grateful to be working with them“.
