Blood Advocacy Week Kicks Off Today!

Today kicks off Blood Advocacy Week, supported by americasblood.org, which is gathering more than 80 organizations to champion policies to expand access to blood products for patients when they need it. Every 2 seconds in the U.S. someone needs blood, and recently there has been an enhanced focus on Prehospital blood for trauma and hemorrhage patients. We strongly endorse these efforts and offer onboarding support for EMS agencies towards carrying blood.
