HOSPITAL EMERGENCY

Simplicity, Immediate Warming, High Performance, Portability…

In the hospital’s emergency settings, simplicity of operation, immediate warming, high performance, and portability are core requirements. The Warrior Hybrid and Warrior lite Hybrid models were designed to address these needs*. It should take just a few seconds to set them up and get blood or fluids to normothermic temperature. It should also take just a few seconds to transition between battery and AC modes.

The Warrior Hybrid and Warrior lite Hybrid differ in performance and size. As for performance:

Due to the properties described above, the Warrior Hybrid and Warrior lite Hybrid are ideal solutions for any hospital’s emergency settings. In addition to being an ideal solution for managing the day-to-day warming requirements, due to simplicity and high performance, either model can assist hospitals when managing surge events, such as those associated with mass casualty incidents.

* “Hybrid” configuration means that it offers both battery and AC-operated modes (i.e., Warrior Hybrid = Warrior + Warrior AC and Warrior lite Hybrid = Warrior lite + Warrior lite AC)
** EU specification; subject to incoming fluid temperature and ambient temperature; fully charged battery assumed, where applicable

Recommended Warrior Configurations

Warrior lite Hybrid

HOSPITAL EMERGENCY & MILITARY

As the name implies, the Warrior lite Hybrid provides both battery and AC-operated configurations that enables effective warming of fluids, blood, and blood components. This makes the Warrior lite Hybrid an ideal solution for emergency departments, trauma units, and integrated healthcare systems (i.e. combined prehospital & in-hospital emergency teams operating under the same roof). The Warrior Hybrid features high warming performance, simplicity of operation, and seamless transition between AC and battery-operated configurations.

The Warrior lite Hybrid configuration combines the advantages of the Warrior lite and Warrior lite AC with the ease of simply selecting the best configuration for the task (i.e., the battery-operated Warrior lite configuration for optimal portability or the Warrior lite AC for limitless power supply).

The Warrior lite Hybrid utilizes the same consumable that is used by all other Warrior configurations; thus, facilitating an effective continuum of care implementation.

We are having amazing success and save cases this past year [2020]. Just last week we infused a unit of WARMED LTOWB in 2 min [250ml/min]. The patient received 3 on-the-ground and 2 in flight and survived a non-survivable GSW [gunshot wound] to the chest!
