PREHOSPITAL APPLICATIONS

Compact, High Performance, and Exceptionally Safe…

Every second counts at the point of injury and during prehospital transports to the next level of care. Therefore, first responders (e.g., emergency medical services (EMS), helicopter emergency medical services (HEMS), fire departments, tactical teams, search and rescue teams (SAR), mountain rescue teams, etc.) must rely on equipment that on the one hand is lightweight, portable, failsafe to assemble, easy to operate, and highly reliable, yet on the other hand it delivers uncompromising hospital-grade performance in the field.

Airborne operation adds an additional level of complexity since the equipment must comply with the stringent Safe-to-Fly requirements. Furthermore, the high volume of transport calls demands a solution that is commercially affordable. All these properties are cornerstone design considerations for the Warrior lite, which is offered with 2 battery size options for optimal operational fit:

The Warrior lite also offers an excellent ability to deal with rapid intermittent bolus flows such as those generated via traditional push-pull methods, hand pumps, syringes, or other flow-inducing devices such as LifeFlow™, which are common in trauma and medical emergency settings.

For long transports, or when the highest delivery rates are required, or when the highest battery capacity is needed, we recommend the Warrior and the Warrior EXTREME configurations (civilian and military configurations, respectively). These configurations deliver the best field performance compared with all battery-operated warmers, offering a delivery rate of up to 3-5 liters of blood or fluids with a single battery charge at up to 200-290 ml/minute*.

* EU specification; subject to incoming fluid temperature and ambient temperature; fully charged battery assumed

Warrior lite

PRE-HOSPITAL APPLICATIONS & MILITARY

Its high performance, compact form factor, and light weight make the battery-operated Warrior lite an optimal configuration for agile rescue teams with space and weight restrictions, demanding transports missions, far-forward surgery teams, and field hospitals with versatile capabilities once reserved for trauma centers.

The Warrior lite offers two battery options for optimal operational fit: the lite battery (from Keep Vein Open (KVO) up to 170-250 ml/minute*; 1.3-2.5 liters with a single charge*; 800g**) and the Extra Power Battery (from KVO up to 180-270 ml/minute*; 3-5 liters with a single charge*; 1.1 kg**).

The Warrior lite utilizes the same consumable that is used by all other Warrior configurations; thus, facilitating an effective continuum of care implementation.

* Incoming temperature of 4˚ Celsius or 20˚ Celsius, respectively; EU spec; fully charged battery assumed
** Total Weight (Warrior lite Base Unit + respective battery)

Warrior & Warrior EXTREME

PRE-HOSPITAL APPLICATIONS & MILITARY

With its unmatched performance (from Keep Vein Open (KVO) up to 200-290 ml/minute and 3.5-5 liters with a single charge*), the battery-operated Warrior/Warrior EXTREME is an ideal solution for warming fluids, blood, or blood components during mid- to long-haul critical care transports as well as for emergency departments that advocate simplicity and portability. Its performance makes a huge difference in environments in which rapid bolus flows are applied in an intermittent fashion.

The Warrior EXTREME is the ruggedized version of the Warrior Base Unit, for harsh (combat) operating environments. The performance of both devices is identical. The key differences are in the compliance framework. More specifically, the Warrior EXTREME complies with MIL-STD 461G RE102 and RS103 and is certified for higher Ingress Protection (IP) rating (IP56).

The Warrior and Warrior EXTREME share the same accessories. They also utilize the same consumable used by all other Warrior models; thus, facilitating an effective continuum of care implementation.

* Incoming temperature of 4˚ Celsius or 20˚ Celsius, respectively;  EU spec; fully charged battery assumed

“It is a great warming device. Makes a difference in patient outcomes. Well designed and I have not one thought of changing to another project.”

Why QinFlow?

The Warrior, Warrior EXTREME, and Warrior lite product lines are utilized across the entire continuum of care by first responders, ground and air critical care transport teams, hospital emergency departments, trauma bays, surgical suites, and intensive care units to warm fluids, blood, and blood components. When every second counts, both product lines offer unique benefits that can make a significant difference in patient outcome:

Keeping Trauma Patients Warm Is Critical!

Thermal management is a key component in the survivability rates of trauma patients. Our mission is to completely eliminate the challenges of warming blood and IV fluid from the entire continuum of emergency care so that emergency care professionals will be able to focus on what they do best- saving lives.

We've been able to use the Warrior on a few occasions. So far, fantastic response!

We are having amazing success and save cases this past year [2020]. Just last week we infused a unit of WARMED LTOWB in 2 min [250ml/min]. The patient received 3 on-the-ground and 2 in flight and survived a non-survivable GSW [gunshot wound] to the chest!

Easy to use, durable and extremely fast fluid/blood warmer! Great for the transport environment.

I have never seen any portable blood and IV fluid warmer that approximates the performance of the Warrior... The warming range, warming speed, flow rates and battery capacity are outstanding... Well done!

We had a multiple gunshot wound patient on Saturday with a blood pressure in the 60s. Got whole blood via the Warrior with a hand off to Life Flight and their Warrior worked great - hand off was seamless.
